Serial Innovations inherits from Sarnoff a very rich legacy in applied vision processing. Vision processing refers to the technique of inferring information from visual data. Visual data is inherently noisy and a good deal of statistical signal processing techniques goes into making meaningful sense of this data. Our experience in this domain ranges from design of pre-processing techniques that make the data amenable to good analysis to design and implementation of visual analysis tools on small footprint platforms. The analysis systems designed by us have found applications in active sensing for automotive safety, autonomous robotics, ground/aerial surveillance, medical and industrial inspection systems. Our clients include Tier 1 automotive vendors, defense labs and systems integrators.
